Brand Identity & Restaurant Experience · Concept
A contemporary ramen concept built on the comfort, warmth, and shared ritual of Japanese noodle culture. We wanted an identity that feels inviting and expressive, and holds together from dine-in to takeaway to merchandise.
The brief we set ourselves
Ramen branding usually leans on heavy tradition or themed pastiche. The challenge was to celebrate the culture honestly, warm and authentic, while staying approachable to a broad audience and keeping a real sense of craftsmanship.
It also had to translate cleanly across packaging, uniforms, takeaway products, and customer-facing touchpoints, so the dining experience feels like one coherent brand.
Our approach
The identity is anchored by a custom bowl illustration that keeps the familiar elements of ramen but renders them in a clean, approachable graphic language.
A palette of black, white, red, and warm yellow brings appetite and energy while staying high-contrast and instantly recognisable. The personality carries past the logo into every touchpoint.
Identity, packaging, and photography direction, built as one continuous system.

The result
The Ramen Bowl balances familiarity with a distinctive identity, adapting across every physical touchpoint, from takeaway packaging to in-store interactions, while keeping a strong sense of warmth and approachability.
